| When I completed the “Drive of Your Life” game, I discovered that my personal style profile was: influential, practical, and creative. The three careers that match my style are: lawyer, hairstylist, and rigger. From this information I have decided to explore becoming a lawyer. I selected this job because I enjoy getting what I want and helping people get out of tough situations. One of my daily activities as a lawyer would be to write legal documents. I also have to advise clients on legal transactions. In addition, I have to represent criminals. To work as a lawyer, I need to get my doctoral degree. I must be good at speaking and learning in order to become a well trained lawyer. In the United States, the average salary for a lawyer is $129,414 per year. In the state of Virginia, the average annual salary is $74, 950. In the United States by the year 2016 employment for a lawyer is expected to increase by 16.8%. In the state of Virginia by the year 2016 it is expected to increase by 20.5%. I am looking forward to becoming a lawyer in the future. |
